Welcome to my website! My name is Cassie Simon
and I teach 6th grade Science at The Rice School
in Houston, TX. This is my tenth year teaching and my
third year at the Rice School. I have a B.S. in Marine
Biology from Texas A&M and a Masters degree in
Educational Administration from the University of
Houston - Clear Lake. I love teaching and helping students find success.

Class Expectations:
- I will be in my seat and ready to begin when the tardy bell rings.
- I will bring all material and supplies to class daily.
- I will speak only at appropriate times. I will not speak when others are speaking.
- I will listen and follow instructions the FIRST time given.
- I will respect all others and their supplies (property).
- I will follow all lab safety rules and I acknowledge that my failure to follow safety rules will result in alternative assignments during lab investigations.
- I understand that class is dismissed by teacher not the bell.
- I will follow the HISD and Rice School Code of Conduct.
